Major Relief Rental Terms of Service
Effective Date: Nov 3, 2025
Please review these Terms of Service carefully prior to ordering or receiving rental equipment from Major Relief Portable Toilet Rentals. By reserving equipment, executing a rental agreement, or accepting delivery, the customer agrees to be bound by all policies and obligations set forth below.
1. Rental Agreement & Rental Cycles
Construction Rentals: Billing cycles are based on 28-day periods on site, including once-per-week routine servicing (pumping, cleaning, restocking) unless otherwise agreed upon. Billing auto-renews every 28 calendar days until the customer contacts Major Relief to request final removal.
Event Rentals: Standard event rentals cover up to 5 days on site (typically Friday delivery through Monday removal). Extended event rentals must be arranged in advance.
Scheduling Pickups: Pickups and removals are NOT automatic unless explicitly pre-scheduled at time of order. The customer must notify Major Relief via phone or email when units are ready for removal.
2. Delivery, Site Placement, & Access
Placement Requirements: The customer must provide clear, level, and accessible ground for unit placement. Service delivery trucks require placement within 15 feet of unit positioning.
Obstructions & Access: Delivery and service paths must remain free of gates, locks, vehicles, low-hanging branches, or debris. If a driver cannot safely access or deliver to the location, a failed attempt/trip fee may be assessed.
Property Surface Risk: Major Relief drivers make every effort to avoid property damage. However, the customer assumes responsibility for potential turf, driveway, walkway, or paving damage arising from placement or delivery trucks.
3. Servicing & Maintenance
Routine Service: Construction rentals include weekly servicing (waste pumpout, sanitization, toilet paper restocking).
Access for Servicing: Units must remain accessible during scheduled service windows. Inaccessible units will be skipped, and a re-service fee may apply if a separate trip is requested.
4. Prohibited Uses & Environmental Rules
Prohibited Materials: No hazardous materials, chemicals, paints, oils, medical waste, trash, construction debris, or non-degradable items may be deposited into the holding tanks.
Overfilling & Tipping: Overfilled units or tipped potties present safety and biohazard concerns. Any cleanup or specialized pumping required due to misuse or prohibited waste will incur extra servicing fees.
5. Relocation, Damage, & Theft Responsibility
Relocation Prohibited: Customers and third parties may not move or relocate rental units on site without express authorization from Major Relief.
Equipment Damage & Loss: The customer assumes full financial liability for any damage, vandalism, graffiti, fire, destruction, or theft of the equipment while on the customer's property or job site.
6. Payment, Fees, & Cancellations
Payment Terms: Initial rental cycles and delivery fees are billed upfront at order placement. Subsequent 28-day cycles are billed automatically.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations prior to dispatch may incur a standard processing/cancellation fee. Same-day cancellations or attempted deliveries turned away on site will incur a trip attempt fee.
7. Right of Entry & Termination
Right of Termination: Major Relief reserves the right to terminate service and immediately retrieve equipment for non-payment, breach of terms, or equipment abuse.
Property Access: The customer grants Major Relief right of entry to the property to access, service, or retrieve rental units.
